Ms. Breed, discretely calls them "White Progressives". Here, they are called "MODERN-DAY CARPET-BAGGER MANIPULATORS".
The worst among them use "minorities"--Black, Latino, Asian, Native American at different times in different ways to promulgate their ideas and amass and increase THEIR power, influence and fortunes.
They also use poor Whites and wanna-be "born special" Whites, who cling to the promise of White Privilege while daily losing their asses to general exploitation and herd-control/manipulation.
Some of these angry privilege-desiring/assuming folks become the monster cops we read about.
While some of the "Modern-Day Carpet-Baggers" speak "united"--others are busy playing one group against the other and both sides against an "as needed" moving middle.
America is the perfect setup for this kind of "game".
Trump plays the game badly on the right; mainly because he's terribly flawed and narcissistic to point of clinical insanity. But even as clearly nuts as military profiling/draft-dodgier Trump is--he made white-racist-dog whistle carpet-bagging techniques work well enough for him to become President.
I will end this one, here: BLACK LIVES MATTER is a TERRIBLE, DIVISIVE PHRASE/IDEA... finally. And you can bet money that MOST Native Black Americans...who've been here a spell--would prefer something else.
I KNOW my people(*correction "some of")--and while the "Progressives" put signs up all over their fences, on streets, yards(some well-meaning and sincere-God Bless 'em)--and drag "some" desperate Black Folks(and wanna be "tv/media leaders") along with their grabbed and promoted "bad idea"--most Black Americans would just as soon have something more pride-infused, less excluding of others, healthier for young self-worth and image, less "pitiful"--representing THEIR voices.
Italians, Irish, Asians("model minority"?--even if resented in posture by many Asians, some degree of positive distinction is in there--and it matters to them)...
Guarantee, no other group would accept "My Life Matters, Too" crap for themselves--and ESPECIALLY for their children.
And as quiet as it's kept, neither do most Native Black Americans.
I DARE you to take a poll. A real one. And offer alternatives. Dare you.
FACT: Early on, 3 women of color who were immigrants were credited with coming up with the phrase "Black Lives Matter"; and those 3 women CLEARLY stated that they hoped their movement would grow/morph to address "immigration"--well...you know the rest.
